We love the number so you can love your business.

Meet the Founder

Dustin Siddoway

Founder & CEO, Calculated

Dustin started Calculated because he kept seeing the same problem — growth-stage companies making high-stakes decisions without the financial infrastructure to back them up. Bad data. Backward-looking reports. No real visibility into what was actually driving performance.

So he built the firm that fixes it.

His approach is direct and practical. He created the Stage Method because he believes the biggest mistake growing companies make isn't doing things wrong, it's doing the right things for the wrong stage. When they get that fixed, everything moves faster.

Dustin's measure of success is simple: when a client leaves a meeting with Calculated, they should know exactly what to do next and feel confident doing it.

Janette Haskell

Integrator/Operations Director

About Janette

I've spent my career helping growing businesses turn vision into execution. My background includes leadership, operations, compliance, financial oversight, and team development across a variety of industries. One of the most rewarding experiences of my career was helping build and scale a Medicare and Medicaid contract from the ground up, guiding rapid growth while creating the systems and structure needed to support it.

As a former business owner myself, I understand the challenges that come with growth. I know what it's like to wear multiple hats, make difficult decisions, and feel the weight of responsibility that comes with running a business.

What I enjoy most is helping business owners get unstuck. Whether it's operational bottlenecks, team challenges, or strategic decisions, I love simplifying complexity and helping leaders create a clear path forward. My approach focuses on connecting data to decisions, building strong teams, and creating systems that support long-term growth.

Outside of work, you'll find me spending time with family, camping, fishing, paddleboarding, or enjoying Idaho's lakes and rivers.

I genuinely enjoy making complicated things simple so business owners can focus on what they do best.

Arielle Cherry

About Arielle

My background is a little different from most people here at Calculated. I ve spent most of my time being a small business owner for 17 years. However, one of my favorite classes in college was a business strategy class. I loved digging into business data and asking questions like, “How can we improve this?” or “Where are the bottlenecks that are holding this company back?” It served me well as I became a small business owner myself. Before joining the team, I spent 17 years owning and operating my own business. During that time, I learned firsthand how important it is to have accurate data and truly understand how that data can work for you. This is a crucial factor in making smart, everyday business decisions.

After selling my business, joining Calculated felt like a natural next step (I wasnt ready for retirement). I understand the challenges business owners face because I’ve been in their shoes, and I genuinely enjoy helping other business owners succeed. I do a lot of different tasks here, but I mostly deal with process development and project management.

At the end of the day, my biggest passion is people and people management.  I like getting to know and interacting with all types of people and I enjoy finding opportunities to make processes better. It is amazing what you can learn from someone if you just listen.

Andrew Voung

Accounting
Specialist

About Andrew

I started in bookkeeping while I was still in college and worked my way up through controller and senior accounting roles at larger corporations. Along the way, I realized I enjoyed helping businesses solve operational problems just as much as I enjoyed the accounting side itself. Today, I work with companies across a wide range of industries, helping bring structure to chaos, simplify processes, and make the financial side of the business feel less overwhelming.

What I enjoy most is untangling problems that have been quietly building in the background — messy workflows, operational bottlenecks, sales tax headaches, or processes that constantly create repeat issues. I’m not someone who just patches a problem and moves on. I like building systems and workflows that prevent the same issues from happening again. My approach is practical and hands-on. I try to bridge the gap between accounting, operations, and the day-to-day realities of running a business. A lot of people think accounting has to feel rigid or overly complicated, but I believe the best solutions are usually the ones that make life easier for the people actually doing the work.

Outside of work, I enjoy fishing, traveling, and spending time with family — usually anything that helps me slow down, reset, and stay curious about the world around me.

Amy Johnson

Client Onboarding & Technical Accounting Lead

About Amy

I began my career in leadership and management while working through college before transitioning into private accounting. After earning my MBA and Graduate Certificate in Accounting in 2011, I spent six years in a CPA firm before moving into remote public accounting after relocating from Illinois to Tennessee. Throughout my career, I've developed a passion for helping business owners feel confident in their finances instead of overwhelmed by them. Joining Calculated was a natural fit because it allows me to combine technical accounting expertise with what I enjoy most—helping people.

I love taking messy, overwhelming books and turning them into clear, organized financials that clients can actually use to make decisions. There’s nothing more rewarding than hearing a client say, “Wow, this is so helpful,” or, “I just want to run my business.” Solving those financial puzzles, building trust, and giving business owners peace of mind is what motivates me every day.

Outside of work, I’m a mom of five who loves spending time with my family. Most evenings and weekends are spent cheering on my kids, nieces, and nephews at sporting events. I strive to be someone who shows up for the people I care about, offers encouragement, and makes others feel supported and valued.

My approach with clients is personal, responsive, and approachable. I enjoy getting to know the people behind the business so our conversations feel genuine while remaining professional. By understanding each client's goals and challenges, I aim to make accounting less intimidating and help them feel confident knowing they have someone in their corner.

Brista Mayfield

Senior Accountant

About Brista

I've spent my career helping growing businesses build clarity and confidence through better financial information. Starting in bookkeeping and working my way into leadership roles overseeing accounting teams and advising business owners, I've always been drawn to understanding how the numbers connect to the bigger picture. What I enjoy most is helping business owners solve problems and truly understand their financials so they can make informed decisions with confidence.

I'm naturally attracted to challenges that require untangling complex processes. Whether it's improving workflows, identifying inefficiencies, or creating systems that scale as a company grows, I love finding ways to simplify the complicated. Some of my favorite projects involve taking something that feels overwhelming and turning it into a process that just works.

What makes my approach different is that I don't see accounting as simply producing reports. I focus on understanding how a business operates, connecting financial data to real-world decisions, and helping leaders see opportunities they may not have recognized otherwise. My goal is to be a strategic partner who helps businesses move forward, not just someone who closes the books each month.

Outside of work, I'm a wife, mom, and lifelong athlete. I grew up competing in sports and still enjoy pushing my limits through endurance events. These days, I like to think I'm competing less against others and more against myself—always looking for the next challenge and opportunity to grow.

Debbie London

Accounting Specialist

About Debbie

I bring over 10 years of banking experience and more than 25 years of owning businesses and managing bookkeeping firsthand. Because I’ve sat on both sides of the table, I understand the real pressures business owners face — not just financially, but emotionally and operationally as well.

What I enjoy most is seeing others succeed. I genuinely love being part of a team that helps businesses grow, create stability, and reach goals they once thought felt overwhelming. I don’t see myself as an outsourced service provider; I see myself as an invested partner who truly cares about the people behind the business.

I naturally thrive in situations where there’s chaos, confusion, or disorganization. I love bringing calm to the process — creating structure, clarity, and a clear understanding of both the goals and the steps needed to accomplish them. Helping people feel less overwhelmed and more confident is incredibly rewarding to me.

Personally, I value meaningful friendships, family, and the growth that comes through life experiences and conversations with others. I’m drawn to adventures and opportunities that challenge me creatively, mentally, and spiritually.

What makes my approach different is that I lead with both experience and heart. I combine practical financial knowledge with genuine care, communication, and a team-first mindset — because businesses grow best when people feel supported, understood, and empowered.

Hannah Krumwiede

Accounting Specialist

About Hannah

Working in accounting over the last few years has given me experience in several different environments, from interning at a public accounting firm during tax season to spending a year in public accounting full time before joining Calculated nearly two years ago as an Accounting Specialist. Those experiences helped me build a strong foundation, but what I enjoy most is the day-to-day work of helping clients better understand where their business stands financially.

I really enjoy giving clients a clear, organized, and up-to-date picture of their financial position so they can make confident decisions without feeling overwhelmed by the numbers. One thing I really focus on is understanding each client’s business beyond just the accounting side. I like learning how they operate, what challenges they face, and what matters most to them so that when questions or unusual transactions come up, I can approach them with context instead of just treating everything like a standard process.

Outside of work, I’m a big sports fan and spend a lot of my free time with friends and family — especially my nephews and niece. I try to bring that same approachable and team-oriented mindset into the way I work with clients every day!

Kelsi McMillen

Accounting Specialist

About Kelsi

I’ve spent the last several years working in bookkeeping, payroll, and business operations while also helping run a commercial cleaning business with my husband. That hands-on experience shaped the way I approach financial work — practical, organized, and grounded in the reality of running a business day to day.

I love helping business owners bring clarity to the chaos, whether that’s cleaning up financials, improving systems, or solving the kinds of problems that keep people up at night. I naturally enjoy untangling messy situations where numbers, processes, and operations aren’t lining up the way they should. There’s something really rewarding to me about figuring out how to make things run smoother and feel less overwhelming for people.

Outside of work, I’m a mom to a three-year-old little boy and married to my high school sweetheart. Most of our life revolves around family, building businesses together, and spending as much time outdoors as we can here in North Idaho.

What makes my approach different is that I’ve lived the reality of small business ownership myself, so I understand both the financial side and the human side that comes with it.

Rochelle Nowstrup

Senior Accountant

About Rochelle

I’ve spent more than 30 years in accounting, working with manufacturing, financial, and franchise businesses. Over the years, I’ve learned that most business owners want more than accurate numbers — they want clarity, confidence, and someone who can help them understand what those numbers actually mean for their business.

That’s the part of the work I enjoy most. I like bringing structure to messy situations, improving processes, and helping people feel more in control of their business decisions. My approach is grounded in listening carefully, asking thoughtful questions, and finding practical solutions that support long-term growth.

I’m detail-oriented, naturally curious, and easygoing, which shapes both how I work and the relationships I build with clients. I enjoy helping business owners simplify complex situations so they can make informed decisions with confidence.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me spending time with family, gardening, camping, or enjoying the outdoors.

Calculated Employee

Veronica Lamb

Payroll Specialist

About Veronica

I’ve spent the last several years working in payroll, operations, and system implementations for growing businesses usually helping untangle the messy processes and “how is this even working right now?” situations that happen behind the scenes.

What I enjoy most is helping business owners feel less overwhelmed. Payroll and operations can get complicated quickly, especially when systems aren’t communicating or processes are still manual. I naturally gravitate toward figuring out what’s causing the issue, simplifying it, and building processes that actually work long-term.

I especially love solving the problems nobody else wants to touch including payroll corrections, reconciliations, certified payroll, implementation hiccups, reporting issues, and system mapping. If it’s complex, confusing, or causing stress, I’ll probably end up hyperfocused on fixing it.

Outside of work, I’m naturally curious and always learning something new, whether that’s systems, automation, business strategy, or completely unrelated creative projects. My approach is less “corporate consultant” and more practical problem solver, collaborative, honest, and focused on making things easier for the people actually using the systems every day!

Marissa Cox

Accounting Specialist

About Marissa

I recently earned my bachelor’s degree in accounting, and I am eager to start building up my experience in this line of work. Previously working in banking, I learned the importance of communication, trust, and teamwork. Those experiences will continue to be valuable as I grow in my career.

What I enjoy most about working with different businesses is learning how each one operates and beginning to understand the unique differences between them. As I am still early in my career, I am motivated to learn as much as possible and continue building my knowledge through new challenges. I enjoy asking questions to get a better understanding as to why certain issues arise and how to resolve them. I believe that understanding why something happens can help me prepare for similar situations in the future.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether that means going for a walk or simply spending time with my family. I tend to keep busy and enjoy finding new things to do in my free time.
